We are delighted to announce that all Kemwell Fire employees are now back in their roles and working hard to ensure the highest levels of service and safety for all. Throughout the past number of months, while keeping the health and safety of our employees and customers at the forefront of all planning, we have been able to continue to supply our products and technical support to many projects across the UK and Ireland.

Supporting our customers during this difficult time

We are taking our responsibility to #FlattenTheCurve seriously here at Kemwell Fire International Limited and are doing our part to help contain the spread of this virus.

Due to our incredibly dedicated staff, KFI is still open for business. We still have stock of many of our boards with more set to be replenished soon and we are still taking orders.

Collections and deliveries are continuing as normal as possible but with heightened measures to ensure our staff and partners stay healthy and safe. We will let you know if these services need to change in the future.

To help with social distancing measures our Sales and Support team are now working from home – so contact them and make sure they’re not drinking too much tea and watching too much TV!

We want to reassure our customers that we are here to help you in any way we can. If you need guidance on fire protection we are available to provide technical, sales and supply support. It is important to keep talking and keep supporting those around us.

The year is almost at an end, so it is a good time to give a big thanks to all our customers and partners for making 2019 such a huge success, and we look forward to continuing this into 2020.

CHRISTMAS DELIVERIES AND OPENING

Kemwell Fire will be closed from 20th December 2019. We will reopen on 2nd January 2020. The last date for deliveries will be on Thursday 19th December.

Kemwell FlexiJet – Jet fire rated protection systems

A jet or spray fire is a turbulent diffusion flame resulting from the combustion of a fuel continuously released with some significant momentum in a particular direction or directions. Jet fires can arise from releases of gaseous, flashing liquid (two-phase) and pure liquid inventories.

Jet fires represent a significant element of the risk associated with major accidents on offshore installations. The high heat fluxes to impinged or engulfed objects can lead to structural failure or vessel/pipework failure and possible further escalation. The rapid development of a jet fire has important consequences for control and isolation strategies.

Kemwell FlexiJet is an effective jet fire rated system that delivers protection of sensitive instrumentation and equipment from the destructive effects of a jet fire. It is a safe, versatile and cost-effective product that is easy to install.

 

Kemwell FlexiJet is tested in accordance with ISO 22899-1:2007 to exceed temperatures in excess of 1000°C and to maintain the full structural integrity of the equipment and is Lloyd’s Register Assessed & Approved.

The single-tier jackets are highly flexible, providing easy access and maneuverability and protect a wide range of applications including ESDV’s, actuator valve vessels, pipework and instrumentation in hazardous areas on and offshore.
